Elevate your candle game with a sleek and functional wick trimmer - the ultimate tool for a perfect flame.
Using a wick trimmer helps maintain the proper burn of a candle by keeping the wick trimmed to the appropriate length. A well-trimmed wick can improve the candle's burn time, prevent soot buildup, and reduce the risk of a fire hazard.
Here are the steps to trim your candle wick:
Wait until the wax has cooled and solidified after burning.
Use a wick trimmer to gently snip off the black, charred top of the wick, leaving about 1/4 inch of wick exposed above the wax.
Light the candle and allow it to burn until the wax has fully melted, forming an even pool of liquid wax.
Repeat steps 1-4 after each burn to maintain a well-trimmed wick.
It is recommended to not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating.
Note: Always make sure to handle the candle and wick trimmer with caution, as the wax and wick can still be hot.
