Coconut Soy Wax
Burn time: 100 - 130 hours
Candle care:
To get the most out of your newly purchased candle, follow these tips below.
FIRST BURN
The first time you burn your candle, it’s important that you let the wax melt to the edges of the vessel.
If you do not let the wax melt to the edges, you will always have wax residue on the sides of your vessel. We call this "tunneling".
On all subsequent burns, make sure you burn your candle long enough that it melts to the edge of the container. That will take from 2 - 4 hours.
TRIM YOUR WICK
Don't let your candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time, as this will:
- Cause the wick to "mushroom", become unstable and make the flame too large and your candle will smoke. This can also cause the container to get too hot and possibly crack.
- Keep your candle away from ceiling fans and vents. A moving flame can cause uneven burning and soot around the vessel.
